SUMMER TENNIS CLASSES AND ACADEMY

 

TENNIS

 

If tennis is your racket then you will enjoy these classes. La Palma offers classes from the beginning level to high school team players. McConnell Sports staff will take time with each student to teach skills such as: footwork, serving, ground strokes and strategy; all while instilling

Good sportsman ship. Bring your own racket and a $10 materials fee to the first class. This supply fee covers the cost of balls and session awards.

 

Level 1:     Player is just beginning to play or has had minimal lessons. At this level you will

                 learn the basics of tennis.

 

Level 2:     Advanced beginning players should be able to hit the ball over the net with some  

                success. At this level, players will begin to work on spin, placement and footwork.

 

Level 3:   / Academy: Intermediate players should be able to place their strokes and volleys.

                 They are in the process of working on serves and volleys.

Private tennis lessons are available from McConnell Sports staff.  All dates, times and prices

             Hours are: Mon-Fri, 730am-10pm., and weekends 8am-8pm.
